2008 Hari Raya - 1st Day

After 29 days of fasting, we celebrated Eid Mubarak. The kids were happy coz they get to celebrate it in Birmingham with their cousins, Mama Diny, Papa and MamaTok!

My SIL made nasi briyani, ayam masak merah, lamb kuzi & laksa johor. Where as, we brought cube rice (nasi impit), peanut sauce and rendang daging from Egham.

Juadah Raya

She had an open house for 6 long hours (though it should be for only 3hours!) Oh boy .. ramai sungguh rakyat Melayu kat Birm. But what can I say, she is an excellent cook.

Hari Raya celebration is not complete without the "salam menyalam" session. We didn't get to do it until late noon! But better late than never!

"Mar, Yoh mohon maaf dari hujung rambut ke hujung kaki..mm, duit raya?"
